The NaMo's dilemma

The biggest problem with BJP & NaMo today is, they do not have proper spokespersons. The spokespersons should be competent enough to turn down all the false accusations raised by the opposition. But, sometimes I see spokesperson troubling. Especially when it comes to 2002, they literally fail to put legitimate answer. 2002 was not the only riot following independence. But it was first in the era of 24*7 news reporting. You can watch videos, photos & listen to the message of NaMo to the Gujaratis. the reality is hundreds of riots have occurred under the Congress regime. Countless people have been massacred. But, everyone is mum on this issue, including media! I do not believe in 'paid media' theory, though I believe a certain part of media is being paid for a propaganda. Let me put the facts....
  • Year- 1969, Location- Gujarat, Government- Congress, Killed- 660, Investigated by Jagmohan Reddy committee.
  • Year- 1983, Location- Nellie(Assam), Government- Congress, Killed- 2,192, Investigated by Tribhuvanprasad Tiwari committee.
  • Year- 1984, Location- Delhi, Government- Congress, Killed- 3,296, Investigated by Nanavati committee.
  • Year- 1989, Location- Bhagalpur, Government- Congress, Killed- 1,070, Investigated by R. C. Prasad & Shamsul Hasan committee.
  • Year- 2002, Location- Gujarat, Government- BJP, Killed- 1,169, Investigated by Nanavati committee.
These are major riots. There are many more. But, there is only one riot under BJP regime. So far, 8,118 people have been killed in different riots occurred under Congress regime.
Now, it's upto you to decide which government is communal? Does Congress have any right to teach 'Rajdharma' to BJP? Why should we call Congress a secular party? Congress is far more dangerous for muslims than BJP. Congress ignites riots to spread fear in minority. Why should anyone vote for congress? They say- Congress has apologized for 1984, but NaMo hasn't for 2002. I say- you people are waiting for an apology from NaMo, & the moment he would apologize, you would say- finally he has accepted the culpability. That's disgusting. One apology does not wash out Congress's evil-deeds. BJP needs quality spokespersons. Congress is afraid of debates on issues like development & security. Raise this issues. Security is the principle issue today, & I wonder why BJP is not raising this issue. If any BJP member is reading this article then I want to suggest you only one thing- Keep reading my articles, there will be thousands of issues that I would address in my articles & please bring those points at national level.

Congress: The visionaries who brought Food security bill

"The Indian National Congress pledges that every family living below the poverty line either in rural or urban areas will be entitled, by law, to 25 kgs of rice or wheat per month at Rs. 3 per kg."
The aforementioned commitment was a part of Congress's manifesto on the eve of 2009 'Loksabha' election. Every party tends to bypass their commitments to the people of this nation once the party is elected, irrespective of the parties that form the government. Exceptionally, Congress party suddenly undertook a mega project, a while back, to provide food to the poor people at the rate of 2 to 3 Rs., Which is called 'Food security bill". 1,00,000 crore rupies will be spent to accomplish this mega project. But I doubt the intention of Congress behind bringing this bill after three yours since the party was elected. The congress party is apparently in trouble, as a consequence of their innumerable scams. Even the bill was introduced in 2012, before the elections in 5 states. Let us contemplate the 'Food security bill'.
According to a report by Food and Agriculture department of United nations, There are 23 crore people in our country today, who can not afford two-time meal. There are 41 crore people who are affected by malnutrition. There are 43% minors, who are underweight. But, will 'food security bill'  successfully provide them everyday meal? The answer is 'No'. Current food distribution system in our country is extremely corrupt & sluggish. It's full of brokers & middlemen. The real gainers in this system are not farmers, but middlemen. So there was no need to bring in new bill, but there is a great need to clean the 'Corrupt system'. But, Congress is not willing to do that. This 1,00,000 crore Rs. should be added to Congress's fund for promotion before 2014 election. Surely it will help Congress at some degree.
Now, this is the time to attack systematically. The people who are supporters of NaMo, should understand one thing very clearly- "Social Media can influence someone's decision." Attack systematically. Do not attack saying-" If NaMo comes to power, he will conquer the Pakistan & all that foolish stuff." We need to improve the quality of our attack. I strongly oppose if someone says NaMo will make this country a Hindu country! If so, then I will be the first to vote for Congress. This nation will remain secular, not pseudo-secular. I appeal all the NaMo supporters to find out the points where, current government has failed to achieve any solution. 'Food security Bill' is not a huge success or a historical bill, as RaGa says. It's a big shame that you have found a new way to execute new scams. Bureaucracy & middlemen will eat all the food that is supposed to get to the 'Thali' of a poor man. Shame Congress! Shame!

The ghost of 2002

2002 Gujarat riot is a blemish on NaMo's carrier. In 2002, I was 8. I didn't know what was going on in Gujarat. But as a Gujarati I can tell you the truth of 2002. My father & our neughbours were suddenly alarmed by some unknown people. We were informed that a Muslim mob is about to burst in our area. My father & neighbours started hunting for a "weapon", which could prove fatal. As a weapon they got an iron rod. We had never seen a real sword before that incident. I was amazed that a huge crowd was waiting for the Muslim mob downstairs. They all were also informed that a mob is about to come. All the people were equipped with at least one "weapon". Someone had sword, someone had rod. After some time, finally we heard chants. We could see chaos a bit away from our area. A throng of people was proceeding towards our area with chants such as - "Jay shri Ram.". I didn't know but, later on, in conversation with my father I got to know they were from VHP. Muslim mob never came. They somehow got  to know that VHP had already alerted the area.
So 2002 was not a genocide. It was a riot. Genocide is "the deliberate and systematic destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, caste, religious, or national group",as Wikipedia writes. destruction took place on both the sides. Hindus were also killed. Muslims were also killed. Even one killing is not accepted & can not be justified. But in 2002, around 790 Muslims & 254 Hindus were killed. Those 254 Hindus do not matter to anyone? These figures have been derived form the answer in parliament in 2005 by the Union Minister of State for Home Shriprakash Jaiswal, who belongs to the Congress Party. Today the myths are being publicized that in 2002 riots, 2000 Muslims were killed! Even total toll of Hindu-Muslim deaths is not touching 1500. You can read the true story of 2002 on a website- Godhra riots. Please visit the site & answer all those people who are ignorant & still they are far away from the truth.
After providing that link in above paragraph, I do not need to say anymore. Muslims in our country, have always been appeased by our politicians. That's why whoever opposes appeasement politics, Muslims are never going to like them. I always think Quran is as holy as Bhagvad Gita. I like to wish Eid mubarak to my Hindu friends too. But subsequent to independence, they have been used to see politicians who would even wash their feet to get vote. Please stop this nonsense. We are not going to tolerate it anymore. I started this blog to write for 2014 elections. I started this blog to appreciate every political party. But as I begun reading more & more about politics, I finally came to know there is no other alternative than NaMo. Though my next article would be on Congress.

India is an ideology

My firm ideology about India is- In a democracy like us, there is no majority & no minority. There are only Indians. No one is Indian Hindu & Indian Muslim. Only Indians. I do write against those political parties which talk about particular community rather than India. Right now, I can see a burning India. Because of votebank politics. Politicians have even politicized a pretty serious issue like terrorism. They are misleading the minorities. Why we should always talk about welfare of a particular community? Is a particular community bigger than the idea of India? I am a Hindu, & I am proud of it. This is enough to say I am secular. Why so-called 'Hindu Nationalist' do not understand that secularism is an integral part of Hindutva. Why educated Muslims do not understand that the national welfare ought to be the priority not their welfare. There are certain things that I want to make clear.

Vote for the party which talks about India, never vote for the party which talks about the welfare of a community. On one hand some parties say they are secular & on other hand they are only interested in gaining votes by widening the rift between communities. We could have forgotten what happened in 2002 in Gujarat. Because this is the only riot that y & z generation of India know, thanks to Congress & CBI. They willfully want to keep this issue in limelight. But we must consider the effect of this misdeeds. Today, I can read comments abusing each others religion on facebook. Muslims raise questions over Hindu beliefs & Hindus do the same to even the score. Hindus demand for a Virat Hindu nation, which is ridiculous. India was secular & it will remain secular forever. Aren't "Hindu nationalists" learning lessons from the formation & current condition of Pakistan? A country formed on the religious basis, can't survive with its full potential. Pakistan is on ventilator. My dream is to see India as a super-power before I die. I am 19, & hopefully I still have a long road to travel.
India is an ideology. Chanakya once said," defeated mind, defeated state & defeated country adopts the culture & civility of the victorious country." This is what has happened to us. We adopted western culture. We were ruled by the British in past. Since then, we have adopted their culture. Still we haven't threw away their culture. We proudly wear suit & tie. I am scared that within a few years, there would be no difference between India & USA. We would have malls, parks, grand hotels, skyscrapers & everything that westrn countries have. But we will lose our identity as a culture which introduced science & technology to entire world. As a culture which taught entire world how to write!( First ever script was 'Brahmi script', founded by our ancestors.) Our culture is our identity. We must stick to our culture. There are ignorant people who think that sticking to culture means absence of science & technology. But I must tell those people that our culture is the culture of science & technology. Our culture is the culture of women empowerment. Our culture is the culture of patriotism. The same Chanakya also said," Patriotism should be taught to the students." Yes, it can be taught. As an engineering student, I am often taught how to get placed in a foreign company. How to get good grades by hook or by crook. But, we should teach the future generation how to serve our motherland. After engineering, hopefully I am going to start a 'Gurukul', which will produce honest & patriotic IAS, IPS, future leaders, & visionaries. There are sufficient engineers in India, but mother-India demands patriotic people.
India is an ideology & it is incomplete without secularism.
                                 "Utthisht Bharatah" (Arise India).

Pseudosecularism leads to terrorism

This is very serious issue today. We should know what is secularism.
“If I were a dictator, religion and state would be separate. I swear by my religion. I will die for it. But it is my personal affair. The state has nothing to do with it. The state would look after your secular welfare, health, communications, foreign relations, currency and so on, but not your or my religion. That is everybody's personal concern!”
― Mahatma Gandhi
No state on this earth can become developed with 'Religion first' mindset. We do not have to look so far for the example. Look at our neighbour. Pakistan can never become a super-power until & unless it becomes a secular country, which I think is impossible. Because this is what some of the Muslim(non-Indians) scholars think-
"But the West is trying to weaken Islam from outside and inside. They attack our people and invade our countries from outside, and they weaken us from within with ideas like secularism, liberalism and democracy. This is all designed to contaminate our pure Islam."
           -Abu Bakar Bashir
Secularism means country first. Secularism means giving equal respect to all the religions. Secularism means you follow your religion, but do not abuse others. Secularism means you proudly say, I am a Hindu or Muslim, but you accept that when it comes to my country- 'I am an Indian & I am proud to be one." Today the definition of secularism has been distorted by so-called intellectuals. They believe you must forget your religion to become secular. If Nitish Kumar goes to Masjid, he is secular, but if Narendra Modi goes to Mandir, he becomes a Hindu zealot! No one cares about 4,50,000 Kashmiri pandits, but everyone is concerned about illegal Bangladeshi migrants. Very few people are there in our country today, who know true secularism.
Hindu hardliners must know that secularism is an integral part of Hindutva. It has been our culture to respect every religion. These people protest the imprisonment of Asaram. But, that's completely wrong. Asarma is not a sadhu(saint). He is an evil. Recently the case that caught public attention, was not the first of its kind. Gujarati people know the evildoings of Asaram. He has grabbed illegal lands. He killed two children of his ashram to perform black magic. Seeing Asaram in jail, people are coming out & sharing their experience of this evil in public fearlessly. If any leader is protecting Asaram, he should be investigated & punished. BJP should be condemned for advocating a devil, especially Ram Jethmalani.
Intellectuals on news channels are totally ignorant. The best example is Barkha Datt. Without knowing what is secularism she keeps speaking & writing against one political party. She was involved in 2G scam. I have never heard her speaking something against Congress party. It will be my privilege to hear criticism of Congress party from Barkha Datt..
When it comes to pseudo-secularism, Congress, SP, JD(U), BSP, Trinmul Congress parties pop up in my mind. AAP still seems to be neutral. Arvind Kejrival worths a chance. BJP has put Hindutva agenda aside & talking about development. This is a time of change. Can't we hope for a country which is totally secular? Will a few number of riots shake one of the pillars of our democracy- secularism? Should we demand a Hindu nation or a super-power? Today, People of this country demand answer form both- the caretakers of Hindutva & Islam. I assure Nitish Kumar- "Today, I can firmly say if Hindu intolerance is rising, it is only because of people like you, who are pseudo-secular. Hindus were never intolerant."
Lastly, There is a book- "26/11- Conspiracy of RSS". RSS may be pro-Hindu. But no one can say- it is anti-national. RSS can never kill innocent people. Recent inputs from intelligence illuminates that the headquarter of Indian Mujahiddin has been transfered to Bihar. Remarks like "Osamaji" & "Hafiz saheb" will only encourage terrorism. Digvijay Singh is a bigger threat to secularism than RSS. Mamata Benerjee is paying wages to imams. A while back Pakistani flag was hoisted in Assam. Nitish Kumar declares Ishrat Jahan as Bihar's daughter, while there are sufficient evidence of her being an LeT terrorist. Even Headlines Today aired a special report on this issue. What is common among all these? These are the examples of pseudo-secularism.

Educational Reforms

Development must be the issue of upcoming election. But there is another matter attached to development & it is education. Education is the base of development. To become developed nation, we need technology. To bring forth new technology, we need innovative ideas. Lastly, we need better education system to encourage our students to think innovative. We have had enough talks & debates on economic reforms! Now we must discuss educational reforms.
As aforementioned, education is the base of development. We have IITs & IIMs, but we know the importance of these institute on international level. I often think, why we are still following colonial education system? How can we evaluate others, when we are not complete. Everyone is incomplete. As long as you are incomplete, you have no right to assess others. This is what I think. The reality is more than 70% teachers in our country today, are not teaching because it is their passion, but they have failed to get any other job! That's the naked truth. Everyone knows it, but everyone likes to hear it from others. They are more concerned about earning money than teaching students. This issue needs to be addressed.
Second issue is high fees. I am pursuing B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, & My parents pay 80,000 Rs. every year to the University. In ancient times, fees used to be zero. That's not idealistic. It is a reality. I have a possible solution of this problem. I think we should divide students on the economic basis, not on the basis of cast & religion. The students, whose parents are quite well-off should pay highest fees. Then second stage should include middle class, they should pay as per their economic condition. Then comes final stage, which covers poor people & they should not pay anything as institute can meet its financial requirements using fees paid by rich & middle class. It's not pro-communist idea. Rich people are rich because of their hard work, but they ought to do something for betterment of society.
Third issue may be quality of education. What we are being taught today is almost 30-40 years old. Our minds remain enclosed by four walls. We may solve all the analytical & critical problems, but we need to be more creative. Marks, grades & certificates are not the only indicators of a person's intelligence. No exam has been found so far, which can judge a student 100%. It is impossible. Even Interview, which allows interviewer to have direct chat with interviewee, is not capable of assessing a person 100%. We should update textbooks. There are thousands of mistakes, every year being brought in limelight by experts. It may be only minor mistakes for book writer, but the students who mug such texts will surely carry it in memory for entire life. At least until he finds real information.
There may be more issues to be taken into account, but it will make this post boring & long. These three issues are major & if not addressed in near future, may ruin our dream to become a super power. Narendra Modi, I want you to speak on these issues. Rahul Gandhi, I want to hear the solutions of these issues from you. Do not fight on nonsense issues such as 'Dehati Aurat'. Thank you.

Why I think Narendra Modi is secular?

This post is the answer to those who think Gujarat chief minister is communal. You must think again, if you have been looking at him as a Hindutva leader. I have so many points to make, because I think Modi is a hardcore secular. I know, my all efforts will turn out to be useless, owing to the way Congress party has been misleading the muslims. The fact is, I was in Gujarat when riots broke out. I know better than Karan Thapar, Tista Setalvad, Barkha Datt, Sagarika Ghose, Rajdeep Sardesai & many other, what happened in 2002. 2002 is also counted as a blot on Narendra Modi's career. But, I must tell you Narendra Modi was helpless, the way people were outrageous at that time! Be patient & read carefully what I have written below.

When people say Narendra Modi is communal, indirectly they say Gujaratis are communal. It's we who have been electing him as CM since 2001. It's we, who believe in development politics of Mr.Modi. He is not a hindutva leader. He is gujarat's leader. The people who do not accept him, they do not accept a leader, Who has been elected democratically. I look at this whole issue as a conspiracy to widen the rift between hindus & muslims. Congress has conspired 2002 issue to shape a vote bank. But I must tell you, eventually it will lead to division of India!
Arnab Goswami, whom I respect for his unbiased stand on political affairs, asked Narendra Modi," You aften talk about development politics, but development is undone without engagement of minorities." Narendra Modi answered," I am the only politician in this nation today, who addresses people as 'six crore' Gujaratis. It is a shame for us that our prime minister, himself addresses people as hindu, muslim, sikh, isai.... is it right? tell me. If I put any development scheme into action, will it only benefit hindus?" He also speaks '120 crore' Indians! Has he ever said 'hindus & muslims'?
Once I was participating in a debate, a person in opposition, was constantly describing Narendra Modi as communal. I asked him, only one question! Only one question & he couldn't answer. The question was-" If you give me a single solid evidence of Narendra Modi's involvement in 2002, I will start speaking against him. Do you know how many riots have occurred in India, under Congress regime? Then why only Narendra Modi?" He didn't have any proof. It's a bitter reality that 99% anti-modi people do not have any proof, they just do so, because Congress is misleading them. Another bitter truth is 50% pro-Modi people support him, because they think he was involved in killing of Muslims. Recently, some Gujarati muslims came out in support of Narendra Modi as Congress only uses them to gain votes.

Let's talk about his puppy remark! It was a general statement & Congress leaders asked him to apologize?! For what? He just made a general statement showing compassionate side of his personality. I still can't understand what was wrong in that statement? Now come to his 'Burkha of secularism' remark. He slammed Congress for its votebank politics. Congress acts as caretaker of muslims, but Muslim bhaio, you should take initiative & say we will only vote for those who talk about India, not about any religion. We need to change our mindset. Now a days, there is race to become an intellectual. Secularism means 'Nation first' as NaMo says. I thank media for helping congress bringing India 10 years back. If any reader still have any doubt about NaMo's secular credentials, he may discuss it with me in comment section. Truth to be spoken. No matter, if people tell you another pro-Modi person. Yes, Narendra Modi lies sometimes in public, but it has nothing to do with his secular credentials.
I do not want claps from Modi supporters. I just want to write truth & that's what I have written. Thank you.

The great battle of Delhi

This blog is an initiative to equip people with political knowledge so that they can easily make choice among prime ministerial candidates of different political parties. It is tough for a writer to write on elections without being inclined towards any political party. Even journalists fail to provide unbiased information to people. But one thing is clear! True writers, bloggers & journalists should motivate people to vote for only appropriate candidate. There should be criticism & appreciation of all the parties participating in 2014 elections. Election is the festival of a healthy democracy. Whoever triumphs & comes to center, but democracy must not fail. Ours is a secular country & that is enough to expect our leaders be secular. This blog is beyond rising Hindu intolerence & Muslim extremism. I will write whatever I feel so, it may happen that sometimes your views differ. That's what I respect! That's an attribute of a healthy democracy.
First time in Indian history(may be), Indian youth is immensely interested in who will win the battle of Delhi, 2014. I too belong to youth community. I have been analyzing the political dramas & incidents for a long time. After having some latest issues of Outlook, India Today, The week, Chitralekha in my archives, I think my political opinion would be credible enough.
Bhartiya Janata Party has already declared its Prime Ministerial Candidate- Narendra Modi, The chief minister of our state- Gujarat. However, my views on him will be straight. I am a first time voter & I can feel the Modi-wave in Gujarat. As a writer, I have always kept my mind open so, I know the dark side of development in Gujarat. Congress is set to declare Rahul Gandhi as its Prime Ministerial candidate. Rahul Gandhi belongs to the first family of India & that's the only reason why he should be prime ministerial candidate of Congress. He doesn't have any administrative experience. I do not see possibilities of formation of third front. So the battle is mainly between Narendra Modi & Rahul Gandhi. Similarities- Two brands, Representatives of two big parties. Differences- Ideology, Experience, Personality. I consider ideology more important & that's why this blog has been named 'The clash of ideologies'.
“Elections belong to the people. It's their decision. If they decide to turn their back on the fire and burn their behinds, then they will just have to sit on their blisters.”
